okey i was changing my BIOS on AID an i might of BIOS the wrong one to me xbox, an all it does now is flash freen an red with frag on off on off on off.
have i fucked it??
will i have to buy a programmer?

Pop in an original xbox game and see if it can boot that.
When you flashed from Flashbios to the M8 bios what size did you use, can you not flick a switch on your chip and boot from the other bios bank ? _________________

when i first flashed it from 3.0.1 i used EvoX M8_16Plus
I have tried switching to bank 2 to see if i have another flashbios 3.0.3. But nothing.
So iv bought a programmer today(Monoday 18th October) hopfuly it'll arrive tomorrow. Im hoping this will fix my problem, It just shows how stupid i am lol i was trying to replace my bios from EvoX M8 to Xecuter2 because thats my chip X2.6. My fault tho i new which bios to put in i just clicked the wrong one i wasnt looking at the time my friend distracted me.
Erm i havent tried putting a xbox game in because i dont think it will do anything.
Also i realised somthing else when i turn off my chip an boot i get a error service so the only way to use this xbox is to have a chip.
So yeh im hoping the programmer will work an if it dont then it just shows that you should never try doing sumthing if ur not sure if u know the cost.
If you have purchased a programmer you should be able to fix things.
Probably the best bios for your chip is the x2 5035 - make sure you get the one for v1.6 consoles if thats what you have.
The reason it boots to an error without the chip is because you used the Modchip 1 click install or formatted your C partition - it cant find the original MS dash thats why theres an error ....... when you get things sorted, use the AID disc to install the MS dashboard to C along with your hacked dash.
(the chip looks for the hacked dash, the original MS bios looks for the MS dash) _________________

yeh the thing is i did use AID to change my Bios.
when i use the programmer an bios manger2.3
is this the correct bios u were telling me about : x2.5035.v16plus

Aw brilliant i cant wait to sort it .
I would like to get a bigger hard drive for my xbox at some point, its just finding one thats the problem.

Edit hey i have my Programmer today, an i got a question DO i HAVE to HAVE a printer cable to just do this thing. it came with a usb so its that okey am i save
