Hi,
I'm trying to soft mod my Xbox using the Softmod Installer Deluxe v5.10. My Xbox has been updated to the correct version (1.00.5960.00).

I transferred the files via Action Replay onto my USB device and successfully copied those onto the XBox HD.

Im using the Splinter Cell exploit.

When I try to load "Checkpoints" it goes to a screen with green writing with the number 21 in the left hand top corner saying "Service Required. Call customer support."

Have I done something wrong? If not why has this happened?

EDIT: Scratch that. I've done it now. I didnt read the instructions carefully to notice that you need to transffer TWO files onto the memory card. I was only transffering the saved game file.

You may close this thread if you need to.

I have the exact same situation as the OP however mine still gives the error code 21 even though I've transferred both files over to the Xbox HDD. My dash is the correct version, both files are on it, I load Splinter Cell and the Linux profile and then I get error code 21. I've tried searching the forums for hours and have gotten nowhere. Any other ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,
I'm trying to soft mod my Xbox using the Softmod Installer Deluxe v5.10. My Xbox dash board is version 1.00.5960.01

I put the files on my memory card via ftp from a modded box and successfully copied those onto the XBox HD.

Im using the Splinter Cell exploit.

When I try to load "Checkpoints" it goes to a screen with green writing with the number 21 in the left hand top corner saying "Service Required. Call customer support."

Thanks in advance

My dash is the correct version to be modded (as far as I know) and is 1.00.5960.00 .

I'm literally in the exact same boat as Madness. (Just above me)

Flaeor....I don't know if your still following this post but I finally got it to work!! The fix was purchasing a original MS Memory Card. Can't explain it but that's what worked...Good luck Very Happy

Thanks again so much! The only thing wrong was that it needs to be an official MS Memory Card. That's it!
