no you dont loose anything you just burn aid3 install dashboards (softmods) and choose unleash x and install it on E ..... i think you only gotta set up your skins again but that easy too ... use the update pack for the new skins for unleash x _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

You have two postings, one here and one in the VIP over the same issue.
Now you have two different folks working two different threads on the same topic.
I moved the thread that had a remaining question and left this one, because the answer to your question is here.
One thread, one topic. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Somehowe you have made the dashboard corrupt. Get AID and delete your old dash and then install your new dash using AID. That should do it. _________________ Moddingbandit

I've just registered here, and I apologize for bumping up a very old thread, but the same problem the original poster had, just happened to me tonight. I booted a game when my Xbox started, but the game would never fully load. When I tried to go back to my EvoX dashboard, it was pretty much gone except the five options the original poster mentioned.
I quoted the post I did to verify the information that was given when this post was first made. Am I right when I'm reading that all I should need to do is download AID, tell it to delete the old dash, and reinstall the dash again? This won't cause me to lose the 20+ games I already have installed on the HD, will it?
Again, I apologize for bumping this thread, but it was the first one I could find where my specific problem was mentioned, and since my problem was the same, I didn't want to make a whole new thread.
Thanks for any help...

You shouldn't lose your games because i'm pretty sure games go on E drive and dashboards go on C drive.I myself have switched from EvoX to UnleashX and back again, and i never lost a single game or gamesave.
yeah, you wont loose your games ..... Is your xbox hard modded or soft modded ? _________________

Mine is soft modded.
I went ahead and gave it a shot before I saw the reply yesterday, I was a bit more impatient than normal, because I'm right in the middle of a game, lol.
EvoX was installed on my E drive, and not my C drive, for whatever reason. But I told AID to uninstall the dashboard on drive E, then had it reinstall EvoX. I booted up, and my game were still there, though it had wiped out my trainers and skins.
However, since I had read where someone said the EvoX dashboard has been known to spontaneously corrupt, I decided to wipe it back out, and install UnleashX instead. Everything is working perfectly, and I even have trainers back since I opted to install the Unleash trainer app.
Good to hear your up and running, at least you didn`t find out the hard way where your soft modded dash was. _________________
