Hi Guys,
Just a quick topic to let you all know to get into..
All points have been reset..
Prizes for this competition are:
1st Place:
1 x Xecuter 3 Modchip (see image below)
1 x Hypnotiq CCFL Fan Grille (BLUE or Green)
2nd Place:
1 x Xbox Jewel (Skull with hair, Skull with spider type, nvidia)
1 x White USB Ports for XBOX (complete unit)
1 x Hypnotiq CCFL Fan Grille (BLUE or Green)
3rd Place:
1 x Xbox Skin (provided by designer skins (only a few to choose from)
1 x Xbox Pen
1 x Custom Xbox T-Shirt XL
The first competition is the main one.. Thats why i am offereing so many prizes for the first comp.. Once we move on the prizes will change.. 1st place will always win a modchip whether it be a Xenium, Xecuter or Aladdin Live etc etc..
At the end of EACH COMPETITION the winners will be posted in a thread just like this one..
anyway, we need heaps of new files and especially tutorials and news..

Hey mate, those are some hot prizes!! WOW, you will definitely get some interest with those.
I don't want to be in the contests so I'll keep an eye on all of the files being submitted, that alone will take up too much of my time. I have already deleted quite a few submissions and news articles because they are ones that were already submitted. The ones that I left I haven't checked yet.

Yeah, I think people thought that they get the points no matter what so they just submitted everything including the kitchen sink. But, you only get the points if the downloads are approved I would imagine, otherwise they just get deleted.

Please search our database before adding anyting at all to our website. We have so much information here we do not want to be DOUBLING UP OUR DOWNLOADS< NEWS or anything else really..
' DO NOT UPLOAD A FILE if it already exists in the database.. '
Anyone who submits a DUPLICATE FILE, NEWS or anytihng else during the copmetitions will be FINED 1000 pts... In otherwords at the end of the competition for every duplicate file, news story etc etc.. So really it would be a waste of time..

Thats a tough rule, but much needed, I've deleted a few duplicates and I know RM has as well.

I might have been one of those duplicates. I found XBTool on another site, and didn't remember seeing it here. So I typed out a big ol' description and everything, linked it, and... noticed there was a more current version here.
Sorry about that. I'll be more careful from now on about what I submit.

Yeah, and sometimes the file is listed somewhere else than you would think so it's understandable if a few slide by. Forabobby, Shirmk, DJB and myself have seen all the files so many times so we usually know pretty quick if it's a duplicate. Keep up all the great work though, it's very nice to see so many people contributing to the site.
Hey slickJ what part of PA are you from?? I just noticed you are in my home state bro!! Plus, I love your case.. did you paint that bud? I need someone who paints cases and is close by. Thanks for the support, guys. I know I say it enough, but this really is the best community I've ever seen on an internet site.
Realmccloy, the white part of my case is a decal from decalgirl.com. It's textured, but very lightly so it gives it a bit of a bumpy look when you're up close.
The red part I painted (in about 8 coats I think, ). It was my first real work with spraypaint that didn't involve references to authority figures and alleyway walls... I think it turned out well, but honestly, it's nothing that anyone with a roll of masking tape and a can of spraypaint couldn't do.
I live in Huntingdon, which is in between State College and Altoona before you ask. I'm not sure where Greensburg is located, but if you really want someone to paint cases for you (I probably wouldn't be too much of a business partner, but I'd gladly help out with any personal jobs you wanted custom done for free) we can work something out.
Here's a sideshot of the job for better detail on the painting I did.
