I'm using X2 Bios Manager v2.3 and i get an error code "Xecuter 2 not detected ;Code 0xfff " even when i hooked up the programmer via usb with the modchip turned on, i'v also tried using usb and a parallel printer cable but not directly to the pc because i have a laptop, do i need to connect it directly into a parallel port and to usb both? what could possibly be the problem if thats not it? please help i'm all out of options.

I have already been there but still have had no luck. I have the mini programmer and i don't think that is the same one in the photos. I'v read the original programmer powers up through the usb and transfers through the serial port but i'm not sure if the mini does the same so thats what i need to know, do i need to connect both cables?

To me it sounds like you should still plug the USB and the printer cord in.
