i've installed aid 4.3 several different ways with different dashboards and even tried the 1-click install. I can get the aid disk to boot and i can get burnt games to boot and i can get the applications to work, but i can't get the dashboard to boot without a disk, it just cycles the boot screen and resets, if i put a disk in it after reset, it then boots the disk but can't get it to boot to dash without disk in disc drive. Could this be because my original x-box drive won't work so i have a lg-4040b hooked up to read my burnt discs? With slayer's installed it will boot the slayer's dash. (i have 2 hard drives and until i get aid to boot dash i swap drives). The second drive (1 with slayers) will boot the dash i have installed on it (made with slayers disc) (without any disk in dvd-drive) so it is not my modchip. I LOVE THE AID and hope to get it working so i can boot to my dash without disk.

They will run in zip format, you just need to find out which trainer is the bad one.

OK so I know that this topic seems solved but, I am running a version 1.6 Xbox and have been running AID 3.1 for well over two years now with no problems. When AID 4 came out I decided to upgrade and had the same problem over and over no matter how many ways I installed it so, I finally got frustrated and went back to 3.1 with no problem. I tried again with 4.1, 4.2, and now 4.3, all three I tried to install in several different ways with no success. I finally came to the realization that it was the trainers and still have had no luck. I normally use the evox dash with the evoxm8+ bios and I have a xenium 24k gold chip (best damn thing made for xbox as far as I am concerned, well, besides AID of course). I even tried to change bios and still no luck, however, I did get rid of that annoying reset on eject problem that I dealt with for two years. Is it maybe the chip that I am using or the fact that I am using a 1.6 box that is causing me so many problems? And has anyone figured out which trainer is malfunctioning? I would really like to upgrade my box to get all the benefits but I don't want to lose any that I already have and I SUCK at most video games anymore so I could really use those trainers. I can't even get it to load with a disc, not even the AID 4.3 disc. I put 3.1 back in and it loads right up, then I have to start all over again. I'm telling you, with as many times as I have installed AID on my box I could be considered an install expert. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love my box, it's been my baby since I installed the chip.

What are you using to extract the ISO and to rebuild the ISO?
What App are you using to burn the ISO?
What type of disks have you tried burning it with?

Use win rar to unpack the rar files and burn just the ISO file in there as is and see it that will work for you.

I have, like I said I tried many different ways. I have tried with all addons, no addons, one or two addons, I have even imported the addon packs from version 3.1 to put in the 4.3 ISO and it just won't load up. When loading I get the bios and instead of saying AID under the big green X, it says Microsoft and instantly resets the box. I have gotten a couple of different torrents for AID 4.3 both from here and from other public trackers so I don't think that it is the ISO itself.

Well, my face is pretty much beat red and I feel like a total fool. Guess what, I installed with xbmc for a dash and voila, it works like a charm. Maybe there was a problem with the ISOs that I was getting or maybe the problem occured during burning, I don't know. I have burned many cds and dvds so I have a pretty good idea on how to do it so I don't think it was because of that but who knows. I mean, I could have had a blonde moment like 30 times in a row and did something stupid over and over every time I burned the ISO. So, thanks for the posts and sorry to waste everyone's time.

LOL All good man, just happy you got it to go.
I knew that if no one had errors but you it had to be a missed step or an add step causing the head ache.
Oh well, enjoy.
