Situation:
My friend modded my xbox and for some reason my box broke (we later figured out another friend by accident changed the bios). My friend then reformatted it. Now I'm running Evox, everything works on it EXCEPT any xbox game. XBMC, my emulators, etc work but I cannot load games from the disc or the hdd (200GB). I don't know how or why it doesn't work. Everytime I try playing a game the xbox just resets to the Evox dash. Help!!!

ok.. If your bios is flashed and you can boot a BACKUP DVD-r what i would suggest is this.
1. Download the XBOXHQ AI (autoinstaller)
2. Unzip the .zip file so you get a .iso file
3. burn the .iso file to DVD-R/CDRW that works in your xbox
4. BOot the XBOXHQ AI in your xbox
5. A menu will come up and let you format and reinstall everything needed..
YOu can get the XBOXHQAI from our Bittorrent or Direct Connect sections for free or you could join up as a VIP member and get it from our HIGH SPEED SERVERS..
there is also a .PDF tutorial with screenshots to help you on the website. Its in the downloads section too.
Thanks!! I'll try that, I've read in the previous threads about this autoinstaller you guys made but I wasn't sure if I would have to use it, so I guess I do now. Later
[Edit] I can't seem to find the HQAI on your torrent, and for some odd reason I can't view the page to d/l the direct connect thing you have here... But I do have something called the "SlaYers_EvoX_Auto-Installer_v2.6_FINAL" -- I assume this will do the same thing??

i keep getting timed out when using Flash FXP.
I have the auto installer EVOX 2.6.
Put it in the xbox. It recognizes the connection, because link changes.
The IP at the top reads 0.0.0.0, but the other in sys utlities is 192.168.1.200, from what i read, should these not be the same?
I ave not installed anything from the disk, i only downloaded it and burned it. The dashboard works, but i can't connect. I changed my PC IP to be 192.168.1.201 and 199.. no luck.
Do i instll the contents of the disk first? Will that change the IPs to match?>Help would be appreciated, i have been reading and searching all over the place..TIA..

HI i had the same problem with my first evox disk.So i searched various forums for a number of hours and the only one that helped was this which worked first time.
Q: My evox wont give me a working ip adress in network settings, and i cant connect to my xbox harddrive, why wont it connect?
A: Im writing this faq because i had the same problem, i hope it helps a lot of you
First of all, make sure you have your evox.ini configured to this:
(leave dns blank). Burn the iso to a cdrw or whatever. hook up your xbox to your comp, then go to control panel, go to network settings, edit your local area connection (right click, properties), then click NIC's TCP/IP, then click Properties. Click on the bubble for "Use following ip adress" fill in the ip as: 192.168.0.1 Then for subnet mask put: 255.255.255.0 and leave the default gate blank. Then click okay, and close control panel or watever. Open up flashfxp or watever ftp client, then turn on your xbox and load the evox cd. go to settings and wait approx 10 seconds, and it will give you the ip adress you need to connect to. Next just type that in in your ftp client, username xbox password xbox, and viola.
Your other option is to join HQ as a vip and download the auto installer which also worked without any problems.
