I'm new to the xbox mod world and your AID 3.0 made it so easy that a 12 year old kid could do it.
Rebuild 3 HD's so fare and all worked now I have to learn how it all works as i'm one of those pc geeks.

I love Auto Installer deluxe it is so easy to use. I started out using it on my softmaded xbox back when it was 2.10 and have been using it ever sence. It has cut softmod time in a fourth. I now use it on my v 1.2 Xbox with a tsop mod and my brothers 1.6a(pretty sure) with the sid4.5 softmod. Works great. I have also helped my friends mod over 11 of there xboxes with it. They love it cause they don't need a chip just a blank dvd, splenter cell, and a usb stick. Thanks for this fine program.

I must say that AID has saved my life (including my box!). Broke a softmod way back in nov and got it back and running 7 months later using AID 3.0! Then used it to install my 200gig hdd and it was a snap! Just a heads up too that I'm currently working on PSPID (PSP Installer Deluxe), so all your PSP freaks with 1.50 firmware can enjoy this release, which will be definately out by the end of this year.

Here's another one for you. I've known about chipping an Xbox since day one, but never bothered. Remembering my PSX chipping days and how that could be a PITA, I can only imagine how aggravating doing an Xbox might be. So my Xbox was factory fresh, until a few days ago. I caught a segment about softmodding an Xbox from DL.TV and was amazed at how simple it was. The same night I got all the needed software and bought an Action Replay the next day. Ten or so minutes later, and my Xbox is modded running XBMC which is the best thing to ever happen to the Xbox aside from softmodding. I have access to all my audio and video on my server so I can watch everything on my home theater setup. Way way cool stuff. Gaming console and bad ass media center all in one.

Kudos DJB AID 3.10 worked first for me no probs and as newb took out alot of problems as you can do anything.
Even edit your ini so you dont have ftp if dump app your self via dvd2xbox or AID which is like windows installer for me install, unistalls anything you want no hiccups. The best part is the iso updater so you can update the apps recreate iso and good to go.

I am a complete newbie when it comes to xbox mod. I started out with EVOX, then Slayers. None worked for me, so I grabbed a copy of AID, and now my daughters are playing games directly from the HD. It's a beautiful piece of art to have. AID saves me lots of labors. I wished I have known AID sooner.

Got an Xbox 1 hanging around? Seen one in the shops going cheap? Buy it, mod it, AID it!
5 minute softmod and a 5 SECOND aid install of XBMC is all you need. Even your Granny could install apps using AID.

I have used AID to softmod more xbox's than I can count for people at work, friends and family. AID makes the process so easy and painless it's not even funny. I was dropping my son off at his friends house(I had just modded his xbox the week before for him) his dad came out to tell me that the modded xbox was the coolest thing he had ever seen for a console. He had been playing the Genesis and Snes emulators all week, showing his kids the platformers he grew up on. Keep up the good work DJB and thanks from all people that I have passed it on to.

Thx for teh disk.. makes it a breeze to update any soft mods i do. Plus I did a large update of trainers with a 1200+ pack. Once doing it my box would not boot.. I was scared but after loadin teh AID 3.10 in teh drive it gave me FTP axx where I was able to drop the trainers and get my box back up to normal. Thx for the major save.
