Hi am a total newbie, with this i ordered a Xapt3r and X3 for my xbox version
1.0
But when i check every tutorial for the Xapt3r it seems that the LPC Holes
are not filled with metal.
My LPC holes are filled with metal not allowing me to insert the Xapt3r.
Am wondering if anyone can give me any tips or why its like this.
Thanks!

Thats how the v1.0s were.....kinda sucks but its not too much of a hassle to fix it....for me i took out my desoldering braid...laid it on the board over one of the holes and heated it up until it smoked a little which told me it sucked up all the metal.....i dont think you can poke it out but i may be wrong...just wait on here for some more feeback if you aren't too hip to my suggestion...later _________________ Xbox V1.6

Thanks for the reply!
I'll wait around for anymore solutions as I could not see myself doing that with ease.
Thanks again!

Desod The LPC Holes Thats Tho Only Way, If You Try To Poke Them Out You Risk Breaking Your MOBO

He's right, there is no other way. You have to desolder the holes with a desoldering braid, or a desoldering iron/plunger tool. DONT try to poke them out, you will more than likely destroy your motherboard. _________________ Xbox v1.6

another thing is.. if u try to go ahead and poke it out, it will more then likeley slip and destroy a trace or more. Your xbox will get screwed up.. Desoldering is best techinique...

Thanks for the quick replys!
