Yea Im Kinda New To This Whole Modding Scene So Ill Probabally Be All Dumb About Things So Ill Get To The Point. I Recently Purchased A Xbox That Was Softmodded For $20 The Catch Was That It Was Media X Menu And In My Experience With Media X Menu Over The Past Week Or So Is That Is Really Glitchy And Doesn't Have Good Features. So I Wish To Uninstall This Media X Menu And Put In Either EvoX Or UnleashedX. I Was Wondering How You Would Uninstall The Softmod Safely So I Dont Mess Anything Up (I Already Have One Broken Xbox Lying Around). So Yea If Anyone Can Tell Me Step By Step.
***I Kinda Figure I Will Need To FTP Into It So You Dont Have To Explain Anything There.

Use SID installer disk to do all your dirty work. Plenty of tutorials I would imagine. Check out our tuts and if you still have questions, I'm sure some of our softmodders will definitely have your answers. _________________ Xbox 1.4

I never got to uninstall it.
I had a softmodded xbox for 4 days.

This is what I would do:
Downlaod SID4.5 and load it onto the xbox.
FTP and completely replace your C: with the MSdash files. I have a link to them in my signature. DO NOT POWER OFF BEFORE REPLACING THE FILES
Reboot, you'll have your MSdash. Boot your exploit game and launch the SID save. Now install with SID with your choice of unleashx or evox. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

I think he meant the Auto Installer Disk (AID) _________________

OOOO Ok I Get It Now But If I Undo The Mod Would It Not Read The Disc When I Put It In Or Do I Just Put In The AID And Forget About Putting The Factory Dash?

If you can boot aid, you can format your C:, install msdash, and backup your eeprom and msdash, and use the tools section of AID to install your softmod _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

yes if you uninstall the mod you wont be able to use AID, but aid will install another dash for you if the mod is still in the xbox. Now do you know what softmod is used? I can only assume its a pre 4.0 and 4.5 softmod. _________________
