Strip club suit ends with a win for GTA-makers.

Gamasutra reports that a lawsuit between the owners of The Play Pen Gentlemen's club in Los Angeles and Rockstar, makers of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas ended with a ruling in the game maker's favor.

The lawsuit alleged a trademark violation on the part of Rockstar for their inclusion of a nightclub named "The Pig Pen" in the "Los Santos" region of the San Andreas-verse.

Reports have Rockstar's victory coming from First Amendment protections, which involved MCA records and the Aqua song "Barbie Girl." That case found that "Trademark rights do not entitle the owner to quash an unauthorized use of the mark by another who is communicating ideas or expressing points of view."
