Sammy Studios proudly presents the first ever 16-player online fighting game, "Iron Phoenix" brings tactical team strategy, clan battles and game modes normally found in online shooters to weapons-based fighting, creating a new experience in online games. The title is slated for release on Xbox in Holiday 2004 and is not yet rated.

Legends once told of proud and powerful warlords campaigning across the Far East in search of the weapons of the "Iron Phoenix." Forged ages ago from the incandescent core of a meteor, the heavenly arsenal of the "Iron Phoenix" proved so potent that it assured crushing victory over any foe. For good or evil, these weapons unwaveringly serve their master, and now a final group of combatants must seize their destiny and harness the destructive power of the "Iron Phoenix."

"Iron Phoenix" introduces a new genre to Xbox Live with 16-player team combat and an intricate combo-based fighting system. Players can engage each other in massive and diverse environments with a variety of close-up and ranged attacks, agile wire-fu maneuvers, and devastating team-chained combos. The new screenshots highlight the game's authentic Chinese weaponry, detailed character models and environments and gravity defying fighting styles.
