Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now download the single player demo of XCOM: Enemy Unknown from the Xbox Live Marketplace.


In this two level demo from the single player tutorial campaign you will experience both the tactical and strategic layers of the game. You will be introduced to the XCOM base where you will train your soldiers and engage in the research of alien technology and the tutorial missions will guide you through combat controls and effective tactics for dealing with the alien threat.

As the XCOM commander, you will defend against a terrifying global alien invasion by managing resources, advancing technologies, and overseeing combat strategies and individual unit tactics. The original X-COM is widely regarded as one of the best games ever made and has now been re-imagined by the strategy experts at Firaxis Games.
