I was just banned from Live after playing several games of Crimson Skies. That sucks. I didn't even have me chip on. The bastards. I wasn't banned until I tried to access the content download section. I could get in to games and everything. Did they scan your HDD Maybe? If you chip was off they must have scanned your HD!

Don't be too sorry. I can still play games, but I can't access my Friends List, Account Management or Downloadable Content. As long as I can play Halo 2 I'll be fine. If I can't, I'll by another one that will be Live Only.
I called and th eguy said I could send it in for service ($80) and after determining that the console is indeed unmoddified they would fix it and give me a 12 month warranty. They'll see where I scratched the d0 point so I probably wont send it in.

dont buy a new box...not @ all worth it...get a new eeprom..its an easy install and ull be back on live in hours if that...check out Zodiak over @ xbox-scene. He's good peeps fast service..good instructions..

I have a question, have you ever heard of the marraige theory? First, did u upgrade ur hdd? If you did this is when the marraige theory comes in play. Both ur original hdd and eeprom have the same code. When you upgrade your hdd and go on live the system checks if those codes are the same. If they are not it sends a message to microsoft saying,"HEY!!!THIS GUY IS A MODDER. BAN HIS A$S.(ok, it doesnt really say this but i think you get the point.)This is when you are signing in to xbox live.

ok there is a very easier way to un bann urself fom live just go into the forums here and into the live menu in there is a topic called unbann or some shit just post ur live account name they will unblock you mate!!!!
