I had a customer call me today and ask me if I knew anything about (I don't know if I am hearing him correctly, it sounds like he is calling it Network Glitching.
He says that two people (while playing Halo 2) can cause two other people on another team to "lag out" and end up double or triple teaming someone else.
I would not know how this would be possible, but if anyone has heard anything on this let me know. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Never heard of that. But I used to download a shitload off limewire at the same time as online play and it had adverse effects
I lagged the game by accident, and I turned the computer off mid game, and the game play improved. But thats just bandwidth. Not a glitch. _________________ XBOX v1.6

Triple, double, gangbang, or manage-a-trios (how the hell do you even spell that..lol) Call it what ever the heck you want...
All I know is supposedly people are doing this. Personally, I have no idea how it could be done..or even why idiots would want to. I personally have modded his machines and he has no cheat files at this time, as he knows the consequences of doing so.
He's not getting banned. He can get back on. This doesn't just happen with Halo 2, but happened to be the game he was playing last night. It allegedly can happen with any game. Basically, he was playing H2 and he and his friend who was on another machine in a different house lagged out.
A few people were bragging about it on XBL last night, but I saw no evidence nor fell victim of this "network glitching". _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Sounds like you have to be the HOST and monitoring inbound and outbound connections. He might have scripted something to take those IP and send lots of packets at them maybe? _________________ XBOX v1.6

A high ping is when you are "Too far" from the server. Your response in MS (milliseconds) is high. This could cause someone to timeout if you aren't responding to his high ping properly. _________________ XBOX v1.6

it means it takes long time to transfer the data from ur xbox to the game server and back , usually due to distance that the data has to travel or the path that it takes is slow _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Basically, its call network bridging. You can use this to force host, lag people out, or team standby. Basically, the "bridger" bridges his connection between his xbox and his computer. Therefore, any firewall settings adjusted on his computer applies to his xbox. Basically, he gained access to a xbox "firewall". This way, if he gets host of a game, he can lag people out simply by blocking their ip.
