I tried extracting an ISO but when ever I try it comes up with the error
"There is not enough free space on disk"
But I have over 6 GB left and the ISO file is only 1.5
Some help?

Some more information would be helpful.
What OS are you running, what Filesystem (FAT or NTFS), and what ISO?

Hm, this is a weird one as I've used C-Xbox tool for extracting / creating ISOs for a long time and never had any probs, I run XP with a NTFS filesystem btw.
I don't know if it's something to do with Win2k (even though 2k is a very reliable stable system) or something with your HDD's formatting, it may not be either.
One suggestion is grab a program such as Craxtion or Qwix and try and do the same thing, if you have similar problems it could either be the ISO or you 2k machine.

will try this I would say if this work it might be some thing like the program not using the right type of variable for the free space calculation and triping up on the lager drive is any one getting it to work with free space check and a 200 + gb drive ????

Hi,
Just made my first 'multi game' backup disc with C-XBOX Tool - I also got the 'not enough disc space'.
I am running Win 2k Pro with NTFS and have about 35gb free on my main drive.
Only way I could create my multi game ISO was to uncheck the 'free space check' and it works fine.
If only the program was made by m$ - it would be free of all bugs and compatibility issues !
Only joking......It is a fantastic program really !

Yes, I agree, the innovation of this program is great.
Unforunately I haven't spoken to the programmer for quite some time now, so I don't know what is happening with him these days.
Over the last few months I have 2.0 Beta 7 here which I have been using alongside beta 6 (unfortunately some big bugs in beta 7 so I have to use both).

Well i have 2000, with NTFS , 250Gig HDD with over 20 gigs free.. and says that there's no space available... so tried on a 150 gig hdd with 5 free... and it works.. so maybe there's an error somewhere on the space calculation algo....
Also, i can't find the option to disable the free space check on v 2.0.5 or 2.0.6
