hey my friends wants to play xbc by hooking up his xbox to his laptop with an ethernet cord. his laptop is wireless and has a netgear router. _________________ XBOX

hi,
With wireless you will definately have to open some ports for XBC to even work.. Try getting xbox connect working on a normal pc without the wireless then configure the laptop again..
Thats how i would take it on.
Im not a wireless guru at all.

its ok. well me and him found out why it didnt work. his ethernet port does not work. like its not installed. i dont know how to install it. we tried everythin and dell is so help at all. _________________ XBOX

what i would do is get his LAPTOP's model number and then start googling until you find a forum with some support for it.. Once you do im sure it will be easy to get working as long as its not broken..

well we tried downloading drivers straight from dell but none of them work. its so weird. o well off to school _________________ XBOX
