hey was wondering if someone can help, ive recently bought an pal version un modded xbox and a vdigi VD-Z3 vga convertor. Obviously i want to get my xbox working on my computer screen. What is the best way to go about this?
I understand that the vdigi VD-Z3 only works with an NTSC signal but the enigmah program can be used to change the video output of an xbox. Im not bothered about modding my xbox, all i want is the easiest way of achieving this.
Can the AutoInstaller program be used on an unmodded xbox?

First off, I run my xbox on my computer screen right now with an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon Pro and it works great. I'm not too sure about the PAL & NTSC conversion, but I know that it's more than likely possibile and if someone knows, they'll post it here.
Secondly, the autoinstaller will not work in an unmodded xbox because it won't be able to read the cd correctly if it isn't modded. That's why you have to have it modded to run "backup" games on it because the way a normal xbox dvd is written is actually backwards from a normal cd so it won't read them correctly unless you have either chipped it or modified your bios (TSOP flash or softmod)
Anyways, I know you can play it on your computer, cause that's what I do for the moment, until I get a new TV. Hope this helps! _________________ XBOX v1.6c

I use this adapter that claims to convert anything to anything, but I cant tell you what it is or who made it, it has nothing written on it! Maybe someone will recognize it, but it was only about $15-20. The only drawback is that it is powered by USB so you need a PC/laptop around to power it.....I was hoping to take my xbox & LCD camping but whats the point if I have to bring a laptop too....now that I think of it I just got a USB dongle for my box...wonder if that will power it!!!!
TRizzle, does your PC card have RCA inputs?
