I have come up with one solution here which might help. You will need to use the Recreate program which came in the RAR file.
1) Copy the aid10.iso file to the Recreate folder
2) Run the start.bat file. Halfway through this it will prompt you to make any changes before continuing.
3) There is a temp directory created in the Recreate folder which contains all the files. Firstly, delete the default.xbe file. Then, make a copy of install.xbe and rename it to default.xbe. Now place it where the original default.xbe was.
4) Continue the Recreate program, and it will produce an ISO called aid10new.iso
Hopefully this will work for you...

That worked for me DJB. I gave it a shot on a brand new 250GB HD. First shot didn't work, I tried a couple different media brands....all ones I have had work before.
So, I used this fix and worked first try
Now I get to play....woo woo.

Sweet, thanks for the feedback.
Hm, it seems that the intro doesn't like unformatted hard drives, weird...

When i first tried running it on an unformatted drive with Auto Installer Deluxe 1.0 i got error 21 so i tried running an older installer disk and it ran, so i prepared hd with old disk then re-ran Auto Installer Deluxe 1.0 and it worked like a charm. However i still can't get the IGR to work. I am using an aladdin live that came preflashed with m8_256k.
Here is a copy of the IGR section of ini file
IGR = Yes
[IGR]
Start_Button = Yes
Back_Button = Yes
L_Trig = Yes
R_Trig = Yes
White_Button = No
Black_Button = No
A_Button = No
B_Button = No
X_Button = No
Y_Button = No
Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

Using this tutorial if I were to setup an unformatted hard drive on my modded xbox could I take it to another unmodded box and use it there..

You should just update to Auto-Installer Deluxe v1.01 where this is all done. But yes that fix would also repair a damaged v1.0.

Ok thank you for the reply; but I was asking if I were to setup a blank hard drive in my modded xbox, could I then take it to another non-modded xbox and use it for that xbox.

If you don't lock it, you should be able to, but don't quote me on that.
