the problem is that something happend overnight that unalligned my mod chip, so then i took apart my xbox to reallign it. the 2 blue led lights showed up which should've made evo x appear, but, instead it took me to a black page with green lettering which said to contact xbox customer service support or something like that. i dont kno wat to do at the moment. someone please help me out

i'm not sure what u mean by an error code. My xbox ejector button flashes red and green, and then on the tv it says "your xbox requires service. Please call Xbox Customer Support" and then it continues on sayin that in different languages. There isnt anythign in the corners. Is there a way to fix this???

In most cases when you get that screen in the upper right hand corner you get a number, but I know the screen you are talking about too. I have received that many times.
Usually, it was a dashboard issue. In your case though, I am not sure what it could be. It's strange that you are getting video and a frag, after realigning the chip. It's not like you changed the bios or anything. Do you have a programmer to reflash this chip? Or, did you flash it from the dvd tray? I guess the first thing I would check is the bios on the chip.
Is there a way you can boot the xbox with the chip disabled? Try that and see if the same thing happens or if you actually get the MS Dashboard.

i flashed it from the dvd tray. how do u check the bios on it? when i booted the xbox when the chip was disabled it still gave the same screen, i dont believe that i can get the ms dashboard on my xbox because when i put evo x on my xbox i never backed up my old hard drive. I lost the cdrw that had flash programmer on it, is there a place where i can d/l it again?
please help me get my xbox to work again

Hi,
If you have flashed it correctly the XBOXHQ AUTO INSTALLER or any other XBOX BACKUP, APP, EMULATOR should boot fine from the DVDROM Drive..
As long as the modchip is working and bios is flashed the xbox will still work from the DVDROM ANYWAY!
SO, Get XBOXHQ AUTOINSTALLER or SLAYERS ETC ETC and then burn it to DVD-R.. See if you can get it too boot. If you can boot the AUTOINSTALLERs then it will format you HDD for you and copy all the files again..
anyway, keep at it and dont forget to take a break sometimes tooo...
