You can with XSelect.
TBH I've never used it and so I do not known exactly how it works.
I'd guess you simply replace your existing main dashboard XBE with XSelect. It effectively becomes your main dash but dedicated to launching selected other dashboards, apps or whatever from a menu.
It must have a configuration file of some sort where you specify the paths you want. How that' s done, again I do not know. So do not rush into using it, particularly with a softmod without more knowledgeable advice.
AID or at least older AID there had a chipped only Xbox dashboard install option to setup XSelect + UnleashX. Never used it so can't advise.
TBH I never saw the point of XSelect when there are other alternatives which do the same thing.
With the UnleashX dash you can put in controller and remote shortcuts to 7 XBE paths each. At boot you just hold down the assigned button for the dash or anything else you want to launch and it'll boot that instead of the main dash.
Its very practical; I use it regularly.
Alternatively you can install almost any dash as an app or in a dedicated Dash folder if you modify the config.xml and launch it from there once your main dash has booted of course.
