I have the old style 360 about 1.5 yes ago it popped a code( don't remember what it was) would run for 10 minutes then flash 3 rings. I looked up the code and no one knew what caused it. so I put it in storage for parts and got a new Xbox. well I pulled it out this weekend and plugged it in. now it works fine and plays games. the only issues are the famous cf drawer doesn't open which ill just get a new drive. the main issue is when I put my hard drive on it the picture goes from clear to having lines thru it and makes that digital distortion noise like like the video and sound cables aren't plugged in all the way.

does anyone have Any ideas?????
o haven't modded the Xbox beside replacing the stock fan( ran for long time with after market fan in it. so that's fine) hard drive is the one it came with I have just been using it on the new Xbox. once I plug it in the old video goes to crap
