I have tried to copy MTX Mototrax to my HDD. I copied it with dvd2xbox and it dosent work. I read on another forum that it won't run off the HDD due to the long file names. Is there a program that will change the file names or do I have to change them manually. Thanks in advance for your help. _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Hi bigbear,
Are you running the latest dvd2xbox? Always make sure you are running the newest version when ripping games..
It should normally automatically patch them for you.
If it still doesnt work after you update to the latest you may need to try other patching tools and patch the .xbe manually by ftping the file to your pc hdd and using a patch tool (available in vip downloads under patch tools)
also, a good idea would be do hunt for a HDD FIX .xbe file which would have been released..!

I got it working!!
I used XBEPatcher v 0.3 that I downloaded from XBOX-Scene.com. I FTP'd the entire game from the XBOX DVD drive to my PC then ran XBEPatcher from inside the game directory using DOS prompt. After the files were patched I FTP'd the entire game back to the XBOX and it now works perfectly.
Thanks to all for youre help. _________________ XBOX v1.0:
