How about a section of the forums devoted to softmodding, it is becoming more and more popular, and I think it would help everyone to have a section for it instead of having the newbie section with all the questions.

i think this is a bad idea ,
90% of the newbies dont read anything . they just come here and want everything given to them on a silver plate ,
softmods are harder to do , require a lot of reading , are unstable and very easy to f#&@ up ,
i say if they want to softmod they go read the tutorial and if they mess up then they go back to reading it , i dont think anyone here has enough
time and knowledge to figure out what went wrong with every softmod possible for every newbie that didnt read anything before he started

That's a very valid point, but with ltools, it is not that difficult to do, just hit a few buttons and follow instructions. The older softmods were a lot more difficult with tsop flashes and such, but this one uses programs such as pbl, and other boot from media bios patchers.
It's definitely not fool proof, we all know they make a better fool when we say that, so we'll not make a better one just yet. It is a lot easier though. _________________
