ok after 4 hours of searching the forums I found out how to do it. I had a softmodded evox dash using sid 5 installer and splintercell game save. To get it to XBMC as the main boot dash i used the aid v4.3 disk i had. First i had to
1. Put the disk in and let it boot up then scroll down to the softmod section and unmount virtual c drive since i used a virtual c drive when i softmodded the xbox. It will ask you to reboot then reboot leaving the aid disk in.
2. After it reboots to the aid menu i scrolled down to softmod one-click installs and choose single boot w/virtual c
3. Then select XBMC as the dash you want to install. It will give you a warning that you need to unmount the virtual c drive if you used SID. Since you already unmounted it hit ok. It will give you another warning that you will be formating do you want to continue click ok.
4. Follow the instructons it gives you to finish softmodding using XBMC it will run like when you softmodded it the first time. After a time it will ask you to reboot to finish the install same as when you softmodded the first time. Take the disk out and reboot. Once it finishes installing congrats you now have XBMC as your main boot dash.
