Anybody ever use a sata hdd with one of those ide/sata converters? If so, can you tell me the model number/manufacturer of the converter?

It was me. I have an xbox with a SATA HDD.
I got a good price for it at the time so and didn't realize it was SATA.

I ended up getting a converter and fitting it in.

While SATA drives are faster . . . it wouldn't make a difference in this case as the IDE cable speed puts a limit to the fast SATA connection.
