I hope i didnt somehow brick my xbox... not sure what happend i was about to add auto install delux but as soon as i burnt the disk... wasnt even in the xbox yet... SERVICE REQUIRED CALL CUSTOMER SUPPORT... error 13? it flashes between red and green... I found that it might be some file is not available... is there anything i can do other then replace the hard drive? games play just fine by the way .... please help

Hi,
Try running a `live` enabled game, then go through the motions of connecting to `live` WITHOUT your Ethernet cable attached, hopefully this will update your dash. _________________

How did you mod your xbox?If you softmodded it, what game did you use to do it?If you hardmodded it, then sorry but i can't help you.

Yeh something is corrupted on your HDD.. Is your Xbox HDD making any weird clicking noises??? If it is you may need to replace your hdd soon and could be the cause of your problems if you didn't delete anything yourself.
Since you can still boot games i would reinstall the softmod from 007, mechassault or whichever game you choose using Auto Installer or Softmod Installer..
Once you get it modded you can then ftp into your box..
If your xbox is already modded just FTP into the xbox and replace the missing dashboard files or BOOT AID and let it do all the work! _________________

my hard drive is not making any wierd noises... and the mechasult works just fine... the only thing is when i try to soft mod it just runs the old version i got... wich apparently has no dashboard... i run the soft mod and when i try to install it, i get a statement saying its missing... i cant seem to chage the softmod file because the fact i cannot get to the dash to see the memory card....i can getinito the file explorer and such on the soft mod but thats about it.. once i get thecrossover cable and am connected to my xbox.... then what?

I have this exact issue. Did you ever figure it out? Halo 2 doesn't repair the dash. Haven't tried redoing the softmod...
