Hi All!
I am just a "Newbie", so I have been trolling the forums to find a tut on flashing the Tsop on a complete "VIRGIN" XBOX. No Mods what so ever.
I have downloaded all the necessary software and aps BIOS’s etc.
I have done the soldering of the Bridges on the motherboard for allowing the flashing to take place, I have modded a game controller with the USB connector to connect to PC and Purchased a Microsoft Memory card to save the 007_AUF game save on. All has gone According to plan, however the part I am being stuck on is trying to save the Modded Game save “007_AUF” using Action Replay to the memory card, every time I try I get the error message saying, "This is not a Genuine Game Save and refuses to save it. All the tutorials appear a little vague at this point and they just say, “Once you have saved your modded "game save" to the memory card then save it to the Xbox hd, run the game using a Genuine XBOX 007_AUF CD and open up the game save to find the option to flash the Tsop etc etc.
Could some one please clarify exactly which files are transferred, modded; or what ever to the memory card using Action Replay to make this work!
Do I copy the entire downloaded Mod or do I have to extract or add particular files to or from it before I Zip it back up and try to load it through Action Replay. This is where I find it not clear. Exactly what files need to be in that Mod? Apart from the bios.bin file, I have modded with the tools.
I have played 007_ AUF and saved a game to the Memory card so I could have a Look at it on the PC and compare it to the downloaded “Modded game saves with the added Evox option pack”
Then I followed all the instructions to try to get it “007_ AUF Evox Package” to the Memory card with no success at all, what am I doing wrong?
PLEASE! HELP! They say to: FTP in to the XBOX and save all files to the E: drive, but you can not FTP in without the XBOX being modded in the first place.
I am a newbie and am the first to admit it, I know little about XBOX, however I am of reasonable intelligence and capable of understanding most things Computer related, but this has me stumped.
Any clarification at this point would be very much appreciated.
OH! And I do not have a spare Modded or Chipped XBOX lying around as this appears to be a standard requirement in some tutorials to enable modifying of a Virgin XBOX.
Please help before I have to pull any more hair out.

hi stavroz and welcome to the site!
Unfortunately we only have a handful of members who have ever done a softmod.. I havent even done one myself.. Hopefully you will find another post with soft modding info.. I would personally contact which ever members have done a soft mod via PM..
I also would suggest buying a modchip as it will work much better then softmodding.. Ive heard alot of nightmare stories on forums about softmodding so i stay away from it..
I would like to do it oneday but just dont get the time anyway.
