I don't know what is going on with all my emus, but all of the sudden none of the save states will work. Whenever I try to use one, such as in blissx for example, it just says 'save states not implemented'. Anybody know what the problem is?

I have the same problem in DosXbox. The few bits I've read up on it so far have proved no help, so if I'll find anything out or how to rectify it, I'll post straight away.

Ok, relating to DosXbox:
"First, they're not savestates because savestates are not implemented in DOSXBox. I don't want anyone to read this in the future and then wonder why savestates are not working. You launch using the .dos file (if one got created) for future runs."
Basically, it causes a real problem because you're relying on the game you're playing to have an in built save system. This would then save to the Xbox HDD. Unfortunately, the game I'm playing (Day Of The Tentacle) has no such such feature, leaving me with an issue. Unless I want to play the game, start to finish without turning off my Xbox, there looks like there's no way I can save.
I suspect that the prob you're experiencing runs along the same sort of lines, although you say yours was working and now stopped?

Yeah its odd man. I did a little bit of changing to my system, I used the AID disk to change my default dash from UnleashX to XBMC...then all of the sudden, no save states...well, they work on Surreal64, but thats it...I have no idea...lemme check something real quick...

Ok...apparently it is just certain emus that are doing this...blissx for one...and it gives me the specific error message 'save states not implemented'. I guess its time to go google.

Strange. I only have the prob with DosXbox, all my others seem to be ok, but then I use EvoX as my dash. I just can't believe that they'd be relying on a save in the actual game itself.
What a bugger, lol.
Let me know if you find anything, I'll do the same.

Thats whats odd. Intellivision didn't have anything like that of course. So what gives? I did some reading and found some old posts about people having those same issues...dosxbox just apparently doesn't support save states.

Yeah, I can sorta understand what they're trying to do, and if the game was running from the CD, I could understand it. But I copied it over to the HDD (as DOS games aren't exactly huge lol) and play it from there. It has no option to save in-game, so it kinda leaves me with a dilemma. Perhaps something for the developers to think about for the next version.
