I'm probably going to buy a HDTV LCD etc later this year and may aswell have the best connection from the xbox, i only have the standard cable but i dont know what the best is?

Yes that will work the stock cables cant do 1080i that cable can.
And no thare is no hdmi for xbox1 just the 360.

hey wes, hope you had a good xmas/new year!
ive been good and managed to save some money, probably getting the 360 soon.
But i have a question, does the 360 use the same video cables as the old xbox? Like the playstations? Or do i have to look for a specifically Xbox1 component/HD cable?

Im allmost 100% sure that the 360 can use the same rca cables as the xbox 1, you might want to ask over at 360-hq to make sure but i wold say yes.

You can see in the pics that the xbox 360 cable has sharper corners then the xbox 1.

I wold say its cause you did not pay enuff for the xbox1 and 360 so thay needed a little more since bill gates is just about broke. LOL
