Anyone heard about Wii mods or Ds mods out there?? I really want to mod my Ds and I have been to the modgods website before but I haven't gone there in awhile. Also any UK guys who are maybe interested selling a Ds internet browser? We never got them and probably never will get them in the US. _________________ RastaCalavera

As far as the wii is concerned there are quite a few modchips out there, little bit more difficult than an xbox chip but way way easier than a ps2 chip.
As far as the DS is concerned I would prob go with an M3 simply or something else my M3

Im looking at this one for the DS it seems to be the best in the long run since you can use micro sd cards that way you can have cards for lots of stuff not just delete and add every time you want to play something new.

I had good luck with WIIKEY mod-chip for the Wii. need the triwing screwdriver to open, but other than that just a phillips. Was installed in 20 minutes and I wasnt rushing. No flashing needed. They come pre-flashed. You of course have to solder it in. 6 spots I believe.
They do sell DS browsers in the USA. Gamestop has the DSLITE in stock. And the older version DS browser can be purchased through Nintendo site.

I modified my DS, went with a two piece combination, SuperCard SD and a PassCard. My suggestion is to make SURE you get a card with extra ram(Excuse me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know the SuperCard series has about 32 mb of extra ram.) Beyond that, once you modify your DS, your sure to find some interesting apps, while I still haven't found a browser, but then I couldn't use one anyway, because my router isn't compatible with DS hardware. It's a shame really. But I would suggest getting the newer cards, however if you want to do anything truly interesting, you should get a slot 1 slot 2 combo, it's much easier to use GBA apps that way. There are no modifications done with passcards, as they just lay out a block of code the DS can live with. It's all pretty safe, just watch out for any malicious software you may find, being as there have been reports of one such app that bricks your firmware.
You should be able to go to DSPASSME.com to get all your basic mods, while they may be a little outdated. I cannot stress enough the importance of getting the extra ram. Without it, you'll probably be disabled, as the DS has about 4mb of internal ram.
