Ok the softmod does not give you this file so you will never find it. From what i understand, the eeprom.bin is your internal settings like serial #, Harddrive #, XB Live #, and alot of other settings. You will need to download ConfigMagic-xbox-1.6-final from the usual places (xbins, PM me for more info). Once you ftp it to your box, run it and select "create backup files" to backup your eeprom from the menu in the program. now your eeprom should be stored in your E partition.

If you use the backup function in evox, you can FTP into the xbox and get the eeprom.bin file in the evox/backup directory _________________

don't do the mod backup, if evox is your dash, use it from the dash, not the softmod menu _________________

Yeah... don't bother using evox as your dash, it kinda sucks. _________________

Yeah use unleashed if you can it is way easier to find files and get ahold of stuff. If you use unleashed you can just go into file explorer and click into the e drive and select the back up folder. Everything you need is in there. _________________ RastaCalavera

Why would you want to use it as an app? As far as I know everything you can do in evox you can do in unleashedx (except maybe back up your eeprom) _________________
