I modded my box with the Unleash X Dashboard. And now Im trying to add a bigger hard drive.. I used the xboxhdm_v1.9 tools to do this. I ran through all the steps to add my c,e,f drives to the new one, and locked it. When I put the drive back in my xbox and boot it up, I get the contact customer support screen. Any Ideas as to why it wont boot up into my mod? When I browse the C,E folders, I think they look just like what I ftp'd over from my xbox.

What is the error code in the top left corner? I am guessing it is an error 5.

It means that you locked it with the wrong eeprom. Get the correct eeprom, use your current disk to unlock the drive, and re-lock with the right key. _________________

That means it is locked with the wrong eeprom so what you need to do is use that same hdm disk and unlock it then get the right eeprom from the Xbox burn a new disk and lock the hdd.

I didnt see any utility in my unleah x mod, that let me backup my eeprom, is there a utility I can add to my softmod, and re-do that? or to read the code? (Last time I got it, I had to reload the temp dashboard using the exploit, and try to back it up)

Hey Greven long time no see. As for your problem the eeprom backup is in the udata folder. So ftp to the box and open the E drive then the udata folder, then in there fid a file with the name 21585554 or something like that open it then open the 00000000 file in there, then backup and you will see your eeprom bin file. copy that to your pc then make a new disk with that in the eeprom folder.

I've looked on #xbins' ftp site for xbpartition.. I cant seem to find it. Does anyone have access to a program I can use to re-partition that F drive?

Well you may not need it. It may put all of the space in F and if it doesnt I can help you do it through Unleash X.

ok, so the new eeprom worked great. Thanks for that. Now I have a different problem. The Xbox booted into the ms-dashboard instead of the unleash X . is that normal? or is there a file or 2 I can copy over to make sure its booting into the mod? Or should I just re-soft mod it?

Ok, I feel we are getting to the end =) Thanks for your patience and help. I am back up and running with the the mod.. I do only show around 130 GB total (including xyz), instead of my 200 I should have. Where do I go from here to utilize the 60-70 gb I have left?

Ok go to system settings and then storage and make sure the G drive in enabled. If it is then we will need to format it.
