To start off, here's my first mod. It's already been sold (to fund the newer project, below)
And my newest project. It's 90% complete. I've finished everything other than adding a few LEDs and hardwiring wireless controller receivers internally (just because I haven't purchased them yet). I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out. Very smooth and no blemishes. I really like the ultra flat paint, but I might clear coat it later since it scratches easily, but for I'm happy right now.
In the beginning:
The mess of adapters:
Pre-bondo:
Bondo:
Controller ports didn't adhere, had to redo them by backing them with sanded plexiglass:
Annnnnnnd:
Not much lighting since the LEDs aren't wired yet:
And the inside. No more adapters, and the bundle of wires wrapped in white tape (lower left) is the LED wiring waiting for me to solder it up :
Enjoy

The only lighting in the Viper Box is the LED fan in the back and a cold cathode ring from a fan. The cathode is mounted under the jewel, which has a circular piece of the metal shielding glued behind it to make the light reflect out. The slim box is only lit by the blue lights in the CPU cooler.
Everything fits in there just right with the notebook HDD (80gb), and I should have just enough room for the wireless controller receivers.
Edit:
Oh and yes, it's a standard power supply.
And they were both TSOP modded, the Viper Box was a v1.0 so it had the switch on the back for xbox live purposes, and the Slim is a v1.2 so it just has the modded bios ( I have my 360 for Live now )

Planning on wiring in 4 (or as many as I can fit) receivers for the wireless Logitech precision controllers.
