I'm trying to remember when I flashed my Xecuters last....
I can't remember all the garbage that showed up during the flashing process. Tell me this... does it seem to go through the flashing process, with progress bar? or does it not get that far?
If it seems to go through the flashing process, have you switched to the bank you flashed and tried it out to see if it works anyway? _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Now the problem is not the flash or maybe it is.
i downloaded evoxhg ai and then put the iso file on a imation cdrw just like the instructions tell me too. when i boot my box with it in i see the flubber and then the x logo and then error 16 screen if no disc and with the disc it shows the same screen with half of it black diagonally. also the eject button blinks red and green.
on bank 2 is cromwell
bank 1 i used when i put in the iso disc.
thank guys

So what you are saying is you are trying to flash bank 1 from the autoinstaller, or are you just trying to load the autoinstaller so you can load evolution x dashboard and all the other apps off of it?
Error code 16 is actually dashboard related, so what is happening is instead of your machine booting the disk it's trying to load a dashboard that doesn't exist.
I think you are flashed correctly, either that or the MS Dash is not on your machine and the MS bios is trying to launch that. It's too hard to tell since I dont' have your machine in front of me.
The xbox-hq autoinstaller is already an .ISO file so it should work if you are burning correctly and to media that your DVD Rom Drive inside your xbox will read. I always suggest using DVD-R's or DVD+R's as they seem to be the most widely read media brands.
I burn all of my .ISO's with CloneDVD2 by www.elby.ch
It's not free software, but you can always try DVD Decrypter as it has .ISO burning capabilities too.
Hope you get it sorted soon....a lot of people don't realize that the software end of a mod can be the most tedious task!
later man

thank you porshexboxster, he sent me this:Here's the most likely scenario:
You've probably left the Xbox unplugged for several hours. I've been reading up in the Xbox Repair Guide. According to it, the date is stored in a special EEPROM that ALWAYS gets power as long as the Xbox is plugged in, even when turned off. When the Xbox gets unplugged, capacitors feed it power until they run down (~5 hours). After the capacitors run down, it's "bye bye system time!". Now, your Xbox is trying to run the MS dash menu that lets you set the time and, for whatever reason, it can't find it/run it. This produces error 16.
Do you have another hard drive you can put in the Xbox? As I recall, when I upgraded to a larger HDD, I just put the new drive in & booted the autoinstaller from the DVD drive. Also, I don't know if this would work or not, but I wonder if you could "borrow" someone's Xbox HDD, try booting with it, and, if successful, set the time, and go back to your old HDD.
That solved error code 16, but now im getting error code 13, Any Ideas??

now i booted my old hard drive with the evox boot disc and it says xecuter 2 under the xbox logo and then it goes to the normal ms dashboard and says it cant read the disc and the disc is not dvd, xbox or audio.
the new hdd says error 13 with boot disk and without.
