I had x-ecuter 2.3b lite installed with slayers auto and worked fine for months. Then the connection from the motherboard to the chip must have stopped touching. It started getting stuck after you started the game on the evox load game screen. I opened up my box and fixed the connection and made the chip glow with 2 blue LEDS. Now its in place and the chips appears to be fine but the microsoft dash only loads up and its right back to where i started with the chip in. I cant get the flash bios screen on the xbox back. I dont know how to reflash the chip to make it work once again. Please help me. Jaw
If the chip needs to be flashed again and you can't get the cromwell flashbios screen to appear then you'll prolly need an external programmer to re flash your chip.

you can get xecuter programmers from sites all over the internet..
They are only cheap too..

I did some research and bought the lite programmer. I also bought a 9v battery and a parallel cable. I also got the x2cable exe and x2bm progs. So when i reflash the x-ecuter 2.3 lite I should be all good too go. Does anyone know if the programmer can flash the 2.6 Lite x-ecuter? Jaw
Yes it will....but you have to have the switch bank plugged in on the X 2.6 for the blue led's to light up.
I've just successfully re flashed my X 2.6 with the same programmer without any probs.

Just do this:
