Hello Everyone ! im new at the xbox softmod , i recently bougth a xbox and a friend of mine did the splinter cell gamesave xploit and now i have a unleash x dash , i can play burned games and also save them to HD. But im considering in upgrading everything because it has out dated software, and also i want to be in control of the installed stuff.
What i want is to delete as much as possible from the Xbox Drives then run AID to install everything fresh, what is the best way of doing these , what is safe to delete, and what should i back up in case of problems ?
Thanx in advance for your help

hey, you can't do much more without buying a chip.. i know theres more up to date installers but they all pretty much do the same thing once there installed. you can get newer dashboards like XBMC.

After booting AID, use the File Manager to erase what's on the C drive, and for best results erase everything on E drive but UDATA TDATA, then fresh install everything.
After wiping, go back to the main menu and "Install MSDASH 5960" to make sure everything will go smoothly.
DO NOT REBOOT AFTER WIPING THE DRIVES! Install the softmod (use the one-click installs) and take it from there
So this will work rite ?

I dont know if i wasnt clear enough on my first post.
What i want to do is something like format/delete everying on the C and E , and install the AID stuff, so i can have the latest version of everything included.
