The fan on the small heatsink in the middle of the v1.0 motherboard is very noisy. Needing to replace it. Anyone stock these fans? The model number on the back of the fan reads AD0412MX-G70. On the front there is a number: MFAN-1060-E.

you can buy any standard 12v fan to put in your xbox.

The GPU fan is unnecessary, in later versions it was replaced by a heatsink. If you want a straight out replacement:

I have the gpu fan for a 1.0 and also a passive heatsink found in the later version montherboards, let me know if you still need something.

edit. fan is used but still runs quiet.

The GPU fan that is on this heatsink looks specially made for the heatsink; so that it is recessed into the heatsink, and not protruding up from the heatsink as to interfere with any other components.

I guess I could try a standard fan to see if it hits anything.

Thanks for your reply. I would like the gpu fan if you still have it. This is another person's box, and I'd rather put it back together with the parts that were built into it. I don't want any complaints later from him saying that not putting the fan back in destroyed his box.
