I have the emulator (NeoGenesis) on the EvoX dash, but no games. Did I just extract the emulator with no games? Where do I get games and how do I install them? Also, where do I get emulators for NES, N64, PS, SNES, etc...? Where do I get the games for these emulators and how do I install and play? Would the instructions for the Genesis emulator, be the same for these other emulators?
Also, how do I transfer (the game file) an Xbox game I own the disc to? In this case MVP 2005 and then, how do I add (transfer) user altered files (in this case uniforms) to the Xbox? I presume I can then play MVP 2005 with the altered uniforms. But I'm lost. Please send me a step by step guide or if that's too much of a pain in the ass (which I understand) can you direct me to a post or another poster who can help?
Thanks so much, your help has been great so far.
Thanks,
Jack

Hi jbpnyc,
You need to take things one at a time.. Im sure you have plenty of little things you need to learn so take it slow.
You need to find out which order you want to learn them too as this will make your plans alot easier in the end.. hehhe
Ok, onto your questions, ill answer as many as i can as im a busy man..

If you used Auto Installer Deluxe to install your emulators you will find that it does not have any roms in its standard format.. You can however download addon rom packs from various places around the net that i have seen..

Some older roms for NES, SNES are now free as well which makes things easier so you could just search for a roms website to download..
I think romnation.net was a good one.. Try them..
Bit Torrent is another way to download lots of stuff.
Do some investigating..

and how do I install and play?
The best way is always to use FTP by connecting a network cable between your PC and the XBOX.. You can then transfer files over the easy way..
Look in our tutorials area for more information on how to setup your pc OR XBOX for FTP.. Its pretty simple really. just a little reading as always.

No, Definately not.. Most emulators for the xbox console are different in some way or another.. Well unless its a XPORT release.. He has basically the same layout for all the emulators he has ported to the xbox 1.

If you are backing up your own original games i would suggest using a program called DVD2XBOX.. Its also available on the Auto Installer Deluxe disc.. Install it and then boot DVD2XBOX.. It will backup the game to the xbox hdd and remove and protection so you can backup to dvd-r for safe storage.

We dont support game modding at all on HQ.. I have no problem with guys backing up their original games collections to save them getting wrecked but dont support halo modding anymore nor any other games..
We are doing our best to provide as much legit info as possible whilst still offering to teach people the best about homebrew and xbox..
Everything like the emus, XBMC and the many other apps..

Also you can't run neo geo games off the emu you have ......you need to get namedox or FBAXXX or kawai.... That emu you have is for sega games only....also I have the same problem you need to get the neogeo.zip file too and put that in your ftp tranfer (thats the bios to load the roms) just google it and load. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
