Hi all!

I got my XBIT when it came out a few years back.

If you remember (XBIT owners I guess) the screw that came with the chip?

The instructions said it was special etcetc - don't use any other screw..

Well, now - years have passed and my 'special screw' has been screwed with so many time (because the damn chip kept popping out of it's position) that it's becoming increasingly smooth on top which means the teath of the screwdriver can't get a proper hold.

The question: is that screw really so frippin special and if so why? And if not, what types of 'normal' screws would work?!

CHEERS !

just goto the local hardware store and tell the guy you need the same screw, same size and threading (or smaller). and use some thread lock if it keeps backing out.
