I am having a hard time loading bios, I get to the screen where it says load CD (which I do not see why I need because I loaded via the USB plug that came with the X-bit) and when I put in the cd (that has the same bios I allready loaded via USB) it give some message about, could not detect haulting

Im sure we can point you in the right direction and get you going..
First make sure you read the XBIT flashing tutorial which is located here:

Follow the instructions and get back to us if you need more help mate.
just some newbie tips:
You DO NOT want to flash your modchip with the cromwell bios.
The cromwell bios is only to allow your XBOX to boot LINUX and nothing more.
If you want to boot emus, mediaplayers and other homebrew apps you will need to flash your XBIT with a hacked bios.. Since you a VIP member you will have no problem downloading whatever bios you like.
