How do you know if a HDD is lockable or not?

I know that I have already been there, but i want to know how you can know if a hdd is lockable or not. Does the Manufacturer tell you or give the info or what?!

mmmm thats a tough one.... look at the link again and notice it says locking along the top and below that it will say yes... or no.
look at the HDD u have and note the model ... if that model is listed then take a look at the specs on the page to find out if its lockable of not from the infomation given on that site.
if you are looking at buying a new one find the one u wont from that site and then search the web for the HDD model number.
