I thought the spice was completely solderless but you can go to the teamxodus.com website and get the iceguide from there which has all versions in it and is a very good manual in general. If there would be a manual on the spice I would believe it to be there in their manual section. _________________ Xbox V1.6

The Sp.Ice addaptor is for V1.6 boards the 1.4 and 1.5 only needs the USA. The 1.5, if there is such a thing, is a one wire solder along with a USA. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Well the "1.5" is missing a continuity in one of the lpc pins...do the FLASH TUTORIALS and say you have the FOCUS CHIP (1.4/1.5) and then it will ask about the continuity of the pin.
That would be a good place to start....if all else fails, you can "AttempT" (HOWEVER I DON"T RECOMMEND IT IN THE LEAST) I have seen others get away with it, either get a Conduuctivity/Trace Repair Pen and put some sort of buffer on the mobo (A piece of "tape"< don't ask what kind of tape, I don know, any buffer that doesn't transfer current should suffice) and attempt to draw a line of conductivity to the necessary circuits.
I don't recommend it at all, I prefer soldering, but..if you know you can't solder and don't want to send it out, at least you have this option, wihch once again, I will not guarentee.
EDIT: THis is of course if you are using the USA (Solderless adaptor for the 1.4-5 _________________ XBOX v1.6

I made the same mistake when I first got into modding...I bought a 1.6 and the xenium solderless kit (spice wasnt out yet) and well I definately had to do a lot of soldering with the lpc rebuild. After that I make sure to read up completely on things I am unfamiliar with and do not trust the sites that sell things....they aren't going to say you have to solder the solerless for certain versions, it would cut down on sales.....you should be fine though...just give it a shot or trade someone with an older box so you can use the solderless. _________________ Xbox V1.6

99.9% chance if you have a focus chip you have a 1.4
to install a spice on a 1.4 just dont use the white part with the spider leg wires on it and the clear template, you only need those pieces for 1.6.
oh and use the small thick washer _________________ .
