Yeah, that could be the interesting part, trying to coordinate times with people from various locations in the world. But I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out. It would be fun if there was enough interest shown organize special little tournaments or something monthly or something if people actually turned out to play. Keep us posted forahobby. _________________ XBOX v1.6c

Definately.. I think its a good idea for the site.. I was approached by many XBOX CLANS in the beginning but didnt have the time to talk to them.. Now it would be nice to meet some guys who are into it flatout to help organise some stuff.. Im making time to play now.. You just have to otherwise you never will..
So hopefully see you all online soon and we will have a laugh and a chat too while slaughtering each other.

Man, I keep finding out more and more things I need to do to make XLink Kai work. And nothing.
Yesterday, I went thru the windows firewall allowing ports.
I had more luck with my Wireless card.
At the moment I am runnning a router through another router (acting as a switch) and I have ports forwarded to this pc and do I need to forward ports to the router I am in touch with, no the other router.
Anyone got any ideas, b/c I am out.
And no, I will not buy a regular switch, I have a perfectly good router doing the job.
But, I no longer receive any messages that I am unreachable. I can view XLINK in my XBMC and it acts as a "Orbital Sync." The UI recognizes its prescence and will close the window (not the engine) to allow for Interfacing on the Xbox.
Now, I have never used this before (obviously) I pay for Xlive, so I don't have to deal with this. However, i want to try it.
Procedure: I accept an invite from somone. And then I am in a room with then. From that point, everyone tells me just hit play, nothing else.
Then you should see a huge list of games in System Link. I have nothing.
Plus, all my games are stored to the HDD and it won't read from the DVD at all.
I will eventually figure it out (usually takes a week or 2 of playing with it. ) But if someone might have some suggestions....
My ports are forwarded to 30000 as said (even tried the 8604). I input the data into the XConfig Tool. Eveything seems to be as it should be. _________________ XBOX v1.6

WAN-----> Router (Wireless DI 624) ----> Another DI 624 Router (acting as a switch and connected by cat 5) ----> A cat 5 to my laptop and the xbox.
So if --->=Cat 5
...................................... /-->Laptop
WAN--->Router--->Router (aka switch)
...................................... \--->Xbox
Hopefully that makes sense to someone.
***Note: DI-624 are D-Link routers. My now-roommate and I have the same router. I have ports forwarded on my router to my computer, then on his router, I have ports forwarded to my router's ip, which I set as a static DHCP based upon its MAC.
I have both TCP and UDP forwarded, and I have tried both XLINK and XB Connect Ports (as per suggestion y hobbs) _________________ XBOX v1.6
