I have a question for everyone here. My Xbox is in a pc case so I was wondering about some stuff. I am looking at getting the Xenium SP.ICE modchip but my question is... will it still solderless mount without the xbox case???? If not wants a modchip that works well with live (using hard drive power switch) and i am not a amateur when it comes to soldering so dont worry about that. I really want to grab this SP.ICE if it will work for me. Also, I want to do the Wireless Mod... can someone give me a link to the best device to use ( i think access points are what is used for the mod) Thanks everyone and I will have some pics in the case modding section soon.

Really nice man the putting a xbox in a pc case really nice ay i would love too see the pics man plz post by the way may i ask why you have put it in a pc case??? so you can add more stuff to it ie hdd's??
Oh yeah and i can answer one of your questions if you are still using the xbox original motherboard then yes you can have a Xenium s.p ice i would just buy a solderlus less fuss but if you insist is soldering the go ahead and buy the non solderluss chip.
ohh yeah and i dont know if you could even change ur xbox's motherboard but if anyone knows if you can plz post deltails i am interested in this.

Thanks for the reply. I put my xbox in a pc case just for the easier access and I just thought it would be neat. The harddrive was another thing it now contains two harddrives and a DPDT switch in the back. When I get everything finished I will post pics and tell about my expierance and how I went about doing this and everything. I need to mount one set of the Controller Ports onto my case (other is hardwired to the front usb). I was thinking about mounting it to one of those floppy disk inserts but thats not going well cause I really don't know how to go about mounting it. Any details on how to mount this thing (anywhere that would look cool I geuss). Also I still need info on this wireless stuff.
Buying a SP.ICE Chip soon
