Hi I have a UK Pal Xbox which i have already installed the softmod and installed a 160Gig hdd, Every works grreat.
Now i am trying to do the same on a USA Xbox NTSC, i have the softmod installer delux, but i cannot get AUF ( 007) to load the game,. I think i have the wrong version of the game as the serial number is 1448527.
I am struggling to get a version with serial number 1448517. Do you now if #1448507 would work,as i have found one of these? Alternativly is there anyway to get the NTSC Xbox to read a PAL version of AUF?

Nope, what you have to do is when you have FTP running between your xbox and pc, delete everything off c drive (yes even the softmod) and install ms dash 5960 there.
Once that is done, make a backup of your c drive, install the softmod, then run the ms 5960 patch.
It should all work for you

PAL won't run on a stock NTSC xbox, it's not possible.
Please if your using SID 2.0 switch to SID 5.0, it's so much better and up to date. _________________

Am i right in thinking only certain version of AUF ( on NTSC) will work with the softmod.
I read on one of the tutorials AUF Srial #1448527 won't work, i didn't realise this when i bought it. But the earlier verson #1448517 does but i can't find one........ Do you know if AUF version #1448507 is OK, as i have found a copy of these.
