BigJ uploaded a whole bunch of XBOX ONE EMULATORS. Whoo hoo!. For anyone that doesn't know much about running emulators on the Xbox One, one of the first things you'll need to understand is the fact that emulators on Xbox One will only work in DEVELOPER MODE. Once you conquer developer mode (and it's not that hard), It's extremely simple to install the emus.
What's The Best All-In-One Emulator For Xbox One?
One of the best front-ends for the Xbox One is Retrix. Retrix(LibretroRT) is a massive project aimed at porting all libretro cores to Universal Windows Platform (UWP). This is the emulator I use the most, especially when I'm gaming on my 65" 4K display.
How Do I Enable Developer Mode on Xbox One
The Developer Mode process is pretty straight forward. Download the DEVELOPER MODE ACTIVATION app from the XBOX STORE and then you follow the instructions.. Once you have your device in DEV MODE, you can then follow one of the tutorials below.
As BigJ mentioned in the XBOX ONE FORUMS, you can follow the PPSSPP emulator guide to install any of the emulators you want. Just keep in mind that some of the emulators have dependencies which also need to be installed.
Anyway, with all that said, I hope all of this info will make it much easier for some of the new Xbox One owners to get involved. For more information, check out the XBOXONE-HQ.COM FORUMS. enjoy!
