hey guys.
I have a softmodded xbox with UXE installed, and i reciently upgraded my Harddrive from 15gig to a 200gig. I didnt know if you had played your xbox live account on your old harddrive and upgraded, that it fried your new harddrive for live. I want back on live, so i thought i would change my eeprom. I obtained an eeprom of an xbox thats modded the exact same as mine (i did both) and has never been on live. the xbox is like 6 months old. anyway, so i loaded up the new eeprom in config magic on my xbox, on the fly edited it to be the same DVD kit region, updated, and relocked my HD. everything went exactly as the tutorial said it should go. if i loaded info from eeprom, i was looking at the new eeprom i had intended to be on my xbox. it worked fine, intil i rebooted it. i got an error 6 (cannot unlock HD) so i figured i did something wrong to do with the unlock key. i placed my harddrive in the persons xbox that i took the eeprom from, and changed it back to my origional eeprom and booted it in my xbox. it worked. i again tried to change the eeprom and the same thing happened. ive checked around alot, but cant seem to find an answer to his. i also downloaded team assemblies liveinfo beta 2, and was wondering if i change my online key, if that will work the same, or if i can build an eeprom from the blank ones included.
