Ok, so I was tooling around in EvoX this morning, checking out every small and intricate detail, but most importantly checking out my HDD space... and I realized I only have available a little over 120GB!! I have something like 130GB total "recognized" by the box, although the drive is a 200gigger, formatted and locked!
My box is Softmodded, of course, and has stock BIOs... how do I go about fixing this? Do I flash new BIOs in there?
I've determined I have an Xbox V. 1.6
MFG Date is 2004-08-09
Serial is 3912922 43306

Hmm sounds like dodgyness lol so you havent put anything on your new hard drive since you got it exept evo x, softmod ect.????
I would say somehtings reading something wrong here unless you have backed up games onto your hdd or have files on there that you cant see _________________

Yes, I've backed up a few games-- HOWEVER, the drive was FRESH when I formatted it using Xboxhdm. Of course, I used my eeprom and stuff from the original drive, after installing the softmod exploit -- I used Mechassault and SID3...
I'm assuming my Xbox bios didn't get upgraded. It's no bother to reformat the drive yet again-- it'll just be a lil bit of a pain... I just want my full 200gb.

you could just install the phionix bios loader (PBL) and use that to select a bios that supports large hard drive... the best bet would be to use EvoX M8+ v16 137 or somthing to that effect. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case

Not to sound like a total newb (...because I am...), but how do I go about getting the PBL, and can you point me to a tutorial with instructions for use...?

haha, its all good, every one has to start somewhere
if you have the AID disc, under the softmod section it gives you the option to load PBL. ive never had to use it my self (i do mainly hard mods) but i can try to find some tutorials for you if you need them. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case

Yeah, tutorials would be appreciated... Right now I'm attempting to get access to Xbins. Seems only logical, right? And so far, I've found this:
