I just got my x-ecuter 2.2 lite modchip, everything's all soldered. I'm a noob so I have no idea what the switches do or what their for. I burned a cd-r with: a skin folder with a few skins in it, a bios folder with "evox d.6 ejectfix.bin" and "evox d.6.bin" in it, evox.ini, readme.txt, and default.xbe the reason I used a cd-r is because I had some already, and I heard that if an xbox has a samsung dvd drive, it is possible. That's about as far as I've got, please let me know what to do next, or if I've missed something or done anything wrong. thanks

According to the tutorials I have seen, you really need to use CD-RW or DVD-R/RW's for the ISO. Let me know if this helps.

I tried the cd-rs and cd-rws with no luck. If evox doesn't boot then try a dvd-+r. Did you install a bios on the chip yet?

Also did you use XISO or gdfimage?
I tried XISO and I couldn't get it to work for me, I kept getting an error. As for gdfimage, I ended up with a 1.1 GB file. So I have to burn it to DVD-R. I just had to update my version of Nero first.

Just so you know, I am having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution. Does it boot into the Cromwell Bios and ask for a new bios?
